History Ty was born and raised on the Human Colony of Archer IV. He had an older sister who died in a flitter accident when he was 6. Ty only left home to go to Medical School on Icor IX where he graduated with honors and completed his internship. Afterwards, he returned home and completed his residency in the capital city where he met and married Iris Hastert. Returning to his home town, Ty took over the general practice. Two years into their marriage, Ty and Iris decided to begin their family. After a miscarriage, the couple welcomed their only child, Omar, in 2347. When Ty's father died of a massive stroke in 2372, his mother came to live with them. And so they meant to leave out the rest of their lives. But the Dominion War came and destroyed his home and family. The surviving members of the Archer IV colony had to be evacuated and they lived as refugees under the leadership of Earth-born Sir Adam Sinclair. Finally, they were given a home on the newly terraformed New Aries along with another refugee group from Beltair VI. For the first 2 years, Dr Ty, as he is known to everyone, worked in the colony's only medical center, but as they have settled into their new colony, he has opened a clinic to return to his general practice roots. Regularly he will travel to outlying settlements to treat miners and farming families. Dr Ty has no wish to re-marry. Instead he has made his new home with a make-shift family that banded together during their exile, who lost their families as well.
