New Aries Colony

New Aries is an M-Class planet around which the Starbase T'Plana Hath orbits. It is still in the process of terraforming which has been accelerated in order to settle refugees from the recent wars with the Dominion and later Species 8472.

Until the terraforming process can be completed, the atmosphere remains barely breathable and so all cities and settlements must remain under domes.

Although New Aries is not a member of the United Federation of Planets, it has received substantial Federation support and protection. However, a recent discover of enormous deposits of highly valuable Syrillium-A and Syrillium-B promises to ensure New Aries a bright future.
